35 Years and Counting

Dr. David Williams believes, through 35 years of experience as a teacher, coach, administrator, and serving four years on the Escambia County School District School Board, that sustained educational success in our school district relies upon the following four foundational pillars:

01

Education

Data-driven School Improvement Plans (SIP) that address student needs and Florida Department of Education requirements, with student achievement as the overall goal.

02

Community

Develop relationships with community leaders, mentoring programs, law enforcement, health services, military families, mental health agencies, and afterschool care services.

03

Pathways

Build a complete continuum of cradle-to-college/career educational programs that prepare our students for careers and college readiness upon graduation.

04

Culture

Our school system must acknowledge and embrace strategies that help us learn from one another and promote a sense of worth and belonging for all students.
